Arab Startup Competition Twelfth Edition 2019: Social Entrepreneurship Track - Finalist
Description
Jaleesa is an app that connects families with a trusted child carer. Parents can meet and book babysitters in their area, for full time, part time, or on-demand bookings. Sitters benefit from our vetting, training, and access to work. We offer activities and educational packages to make learning fun.
We work with NGOs to offer equal opportunities and digital literacy training to sitters joining us from all communities across Lebanon. So far 33c from every dollar sold has been reinvested in vulnerable communities. Our mission is to build a business with a social impact that scales with our success.
