In our last newsletter we asked our community from around the world to share with us any initiative or program that supports the effort to limit the impact of COVID-19 on societies, economies, and health. The amount of responses we got from all of you was truly overwhelming and goes to show that the MENA region is no short of talent or innovative ideas. Below you can find a list of the programs shared by you, as an act of solidarity with everyone on the front line who is keeping us safe.

Abuerdan, an online platform that helps poultry farmers manage their farms remotely and efficiently, reducing face-to-face interaction. Abuerdan is currently offering users a one-time 50% discount on their services.
Jana Reading, an online Arabic-learning platform built for students and educators. They are currently offering a free subscription for the month of April.
iEMR, a software company that offers healthcare professionals an advanced EMR software for free for this period. Entrepreneurship بالعراقي, every Thursday at 9:00 PM join the live stream for a discussion on entrepreneurship and innovation in Iraq, and how to spot an opportunity when there is one. The project promises to raise awareness to the Iraqi technology community.
uMake, a coworking space based in Ramallah, Palestine, launched ‘Cobinar’, a free webinar series to engage with the community and encourage an ongoing conversation regarding the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
Remote Attendance and Discipline Management (RADM) allows educators to monitor and measure students’ attention and abilities to remain productive. RADM uses face recognition and eye-tracking technology to support remote-learning initiatives in providing quantifiable data of productivity and attendance.
FadaAlatfal, an educational application designed for kids between the ages of three and seven years old to learn the basics of the Arabic language in different interactive ways. The application combines both interactive technology and the traditional way of education. They’re currently offering it for free until the end of April.
