MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) Pan Arab and Saudi Arabia officially launched the Startup Competition 2022, one of the biggest entrepreneurial competitions in the MENA region.
The Competition is organized and supported by Bab Rizk Jameel & Community Jameel Saudi Arabia and will be held in March 2022 for the FIRST time in Al Medina Al Munawwarah under the Patronage of the Governorate of Madinah Region.
The aim of the Competition is to enable entrepreneurs and promote an ecosystem of innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology in the Arab world! Startup Competition 2022 will give the participants the exposure that they need to tap into the Saudi Market through pitching to a number of Saudi & International Investors and exhibiting their products/services at the “Startup Investment Forum” that will be held over a span of 3 days.
Registration for the competition opened on September 15, 2021 on our competition’s official website. Applicants can now apply to one of our three different tracks: Ideas, Startups, and Social Entrepreneurship, and even save their application to continue later, as long as they submit before December 6, 2021.
The competition’s organizers will be running a series of online roadshows and informative sessions introducing entrepreneurs to the competition and supporting them with their application forms to help them stand out. During these roadshows, participants will also get the chance to meet some of MITEF Pan Arab’s alumni who will be sharing their experiences throughout the previous competitions and the benefits they’ve gained. This is every regional entrepreneur’s chance to shine, showcase, and develop his/her Idea/Startup in one of the biggest entrepreneurial scenes in the MENA Region. 60 lucky semi finalist teams will be chosen to benefit from the whole journey and take part in the exciting 7-day event in Al Medina Al Munawwarah, KSA! They will make the most out of the Bootcamp (a top tier training program designed by MIT level trainers), world class mentorship, large pool of investors, exposure, endless opportunities, and several in-kind support. Out of the 60 semi finalist teams, 9 lucky winners will also benefit from non-equity cash prizes.
